+ Much easier to navigate and manage BD watching experience on the PS3 compared to the controller. This alone is worth buying it for. People who regularly use the PS3 controller for BD movie watching- hats off to you. + works in non-line of sight scenarios. We have a little kid who loves fiddling with our electronics. So we keep the Ps3 inside an entertainment center with wooden doors. All IR remotes fail when the door is closed. Not the Ps3 BT based remote. Props to bluetooth more than anything else.
- Occasionally the BT pairing between the Ps3 and the remote fails and need to be re”pair”ed. Hassle but not very painful.
