Why are they the same price? ? ? I really wanted to get PS3 and I do not know which one get.Help !?!?!?!?!?!

Since the suspension of 80GB, is an old model, so that stores would like to get rid of them is a profit to some extent, because these games to store shelves, they returned to 399 U.S. dollars. Apart from some people would pay so much, because they need an old console the ability to shape and install Linux (which is pointless, because it is so, Sony is almost completely pointless) weakened. In other words, only need to buy a new 120GB ultra-thin, you get more storage space, saving more than 80GB model, in addition to Linux on the shape and all other features identical to the same price.

what's up with the 80 GB playstations 3...i was just about to buy it and now they are discontinued....you guys have any clues to when will the newer version of 120gb or 160gb might be out...please let me know....i dont want to buy ps3 40gb because that doesnt play sp2 games...please let me know ...thanks

Even 120GB or 160GB cant play PS2 games because when the release of 120GB OR 160GB PS2 & its games becomes old & outdated.So the backward compactablity is removed.

you can play ps1 games for sure, but not ps2 games, sony still wants to keep selling ps2s and i dont blame them for wanting to make more money.

I am planning to gift my boyfriend a playstation 3. I found one that says it has 40 GB memory, and it is cheaper than the one that has 120 GB.

My question is, those of you who own a 120 GB PS3, do you really use all that memory space? Do you think it will be ok if I buy the 40 gb ps3?

Personnally he will love the gift no matter if it's the 40GB or 120GB. If my girl did that i would be really happy either way and I would want her to buy the 40GB as it usually cost less. Thats just me though.

I think 40GB is fine though. Besides he can always upgrade the ps3 hard drive in the future. Right now I see 40GB lasting him a really long time unless he wants to put it loads of movies and music. Even if he has like 10GB of music on it and 5 GB of videos he's good.

My 13-year-old son recently told me that he would like to Playstation to go with us for several years with the Wii console. I am glad to finally have a video game system, Blu-ray and excellent graphics and a lot of games library. Now that we have it, I can say that our disappointment is huge.

First of all, the game, apparently to my son's PS3, because he knows that it can play PS2 games - Slim does not have. Yes - every PS3 ever until this one is fully compatible with PS2's - but this one is not.I think Sony decided that they do not want someone who can play any of the test of time, 1000 and loved the game to provide them with the best-selling PS2 platform.

The left side of these games appears to be mainly the shooting / bombing / killing type of game. We do not see us supporting the game Mario or Pikmin creativity of the local storage a title. There are games, I would be shocked by my son to play dozens of others. Shop owner said to me, PS3's population is 18-45 year-old male, apparently ,18-45-year-old men love to play games, they run around pretending to violence and killing things. Blah.

Second, the cable. This is a relatively small thing, I think, but we have to go out and buy 50 U.S. dollars for U.S. dollars cable linking the things of our high-definition TV. I heard that if you are a smart shopper can find one close to 20 dollars, but still, if you bought a high-definition video game system, you should be able to connect to your HD TV HDMI cables online.

3 is a controller. You only once, this is an awkward design, confusing mess button. I was told that all of these buttons to give you more control, but my son, I found it totally illogical and confusing.Senior players must know the orange circle will be canceled and gray of X 'is gone, but in the game we tried, we have been looking down menu to select the match stick. I believe that my son could figure out, but for me, I feel his hands do not work....
